Welcome back to another great year at JFCarmichael!

 

As with any school year, glitches can occur and this year, due to the WRDSB cyber attack, we will need and ask for your patience and flexibility as we wait for systems to be back up and running. 

Due to this scenario, families will not be able to have access this weekend to their children’s teachers on School Day. As well, we have a number of new staff who may not be known to students or families. 

Therefore, our plan for the first day will look like this: all JFC students will meet on the field at the back of the school on Tuesday morning around 8:50. Teachers will be lined up in GRADE ORDER holding signage to indicate their grade. You can check with the teachers on the field to see which class your child will be in at that time. Further, a number of staff including Mrs. Pullen and Ms. Demsey will also have class assignment information that morning. You can look for large paw prints with grade numbers on them close to the field. Anyone with a paw print can help you locate the correct class lineup. 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to make our students’ first day of school as smooth as possible.
