J F Carmichael Public School will remain closed on Tuesday, November 9. This includes the school day, Extended Day and Youth Development programs. Please monitor the school website for updates.

As you are aware, our school experienced flooding in a number of classrooms, which Facility Services and contractors have been working to address since Sunday. Unfortunately, as their work continues, our school will be required to remain closed. This includes the school day, Extended Day and Youth Development programs.

Student learning will continue. Teachers will teach asynchronously from home and will be available to students during the regular school day hours on their Google Classrooms. Students are invited to participate as they are able. 

Chromebooks will be available to families who do not have a device in their household. Office staff will be at the school on Tuesday to assist with the deployment of Chromebooks. 

Additional online resources will also be available via WRDSB@Home.
